During an event in which the Band is involved, such as a football game, Band Members are required to sit with their section (i.e. – trumpets, trombones, flutes, etc.) or group (i.e. – Drill Team, Majorettes, etc.).
The Band members ARE NOT allowed to have any type of food or drink that is not given to them by the Booster Organization. Do not bring snacks or drinks with you in the stands, as it will be confiscated. This is important as some Members have food allergies and also for each student’s benefit so that spills on uniforms are kept to a minimum. Please make sure that you (the Band member) have eaten and are well-hydrated BEFORE departure for an event.
Cell phone use is also permitted while in the stands, but should not interfere with band activity.
Students are not allowed visitors during a function.
While at events like Football games, Band Members should remain in uniform, unless otherwise instructed. This means keeping your jacket on and zipped and your hat on your head. Also, while in the stands, please DO NOT sit on anything — like the metal bleacher seats — unless the black vinyl seat covers are on because your pants will turn black! The uniforms are 13 years old and they need to stay in good condition. Please alert a Band Mom if you have an issue with your uniform (like a stain, missing button or snap, etc.) as soon as you notice it so that it can be addressed.
Early Dismissal/Riding Home with Parent
If a Band member needs to leave an event early or is not riding the bus home from an event (must be with a Parent), a written request is required!
Please give the note to the Band Director BEFORE event departure.
