Florida Trip Info – April 6, 2017

We are 19 days away from the Florida trip – so we have several things we need to prep for – several items that needs to be in by tomorrow, so please review this carefully:
  • Reminder that tomorrow (FRIDAY) is the last day to submit your form to get $$ for available spending money out of your Student Accounts for Florida. If you have not turned it in yet, please do so.  TOMORROW BY 2:30 PM IS THE DEADLINE!  (Since there is no school at all next week.)
  • Band Medical Form — if you have any changes/updates, please print from the link and turn them in the mailbox in the band room by TOMORROW (FRIDAY) as well!
  • ALSO — ALL Band kids should be pulling their white shoes out and getting them cleaned TONIGHT if they haven’t done it yet.  AND turned in into the band room TOMORROW (FRIDAY).  Please put the shoes in the mesh green bag with your name on it hanging up with your uniform.

More Florida info will be provided after Spring break. We will have a meeting @ 7 PM on April 24th.

Disney Updates – 03/24/2017

Band Parents:

With Disney coming up on us soon, you are able to take money from your child’s student accounts for them to take as spending money during the trip. You can request what they have in their account up to $200.00. If this is something that you want to do, you must fill out a student account request form and place in the band mail box no later than Friday, April 7th. This will give us time to have it ready to give it to them the afternoon we leave. You can get the student account form HERE or the door in the band room. If you are not riding the bus, please make sure you phone number is on the form so we can make arrangements to get with you to give you the money.

Also, just a reminder if you child’s medical history or insurance has changed please fill out a new Band Medical Form and place it in the band mail box no later than Tuesday, April 18th. That way I will have time to get them ready to take with us to Florida.

Student Account Update

I wanted to let everyone know that I have completed entering all the profit from the last fundraiser of Easter Candy and also if you sold Anderson candy bars. If you would like to know your student account balance please send me an email to bigredstudentaccts@gmail.com.
If you are planning to request trip spend money from student accounts for your band student, the band officers will handle the disbursement of funds.

Final Disney Payments DUE!

Final payments are due NO LATER than Tuesday, February 28th 2017!

Please note that the trip has DECREASED from a total of $975.00 to $950.00.  If you were one of the ones who paid in advance your $25.00 over-payment will be deposited into your Student Account.

Student Accounts and Disney Trip Info

The Student Account and Florida trip are 2 different accounts, as everyone has a student account who is in band, however, not everyone is attending the Florida Trip.  Please note that when you raised money thru fundraising that money does not automatically go towards your trip.  You need to fill out a Student Account form stating where the money is to go.  Remember you can also use your Student Account money for band shoes, Kennywood tickets and the Banquet for example.

Cash Bash Tickets!

Time is winding down on the sale of the cash bash tickets so if you need any, please let me know. We can make arrangements to meet and get them to you. Remember, for every ticket that you sell, your child will get $10 put into their student account. For those of you who got you tickets already, please either text or leave me a message @ 724-630-4864 on how many you have left unsold so we can get a count on how many we still have to sell. Please bring all money and ticket stubs to our meeting next Monday, February 6th. If you are unable to make that meeting, please let me know and we can make arrangements to get them to us. It is important that we get them as soon as possible because we have to turn it into the Cash Bash Committee.

Fundraiser Order Pick Up

J&J’s Subs and Gourmet Dips. These orders will be delivered are ready for pick up on 1/26 (tomorrow – Thursday) from 4:30-6:00 at the High School.


Band Banquet RSVP Due

Please return your RSVP to Erin Spielman by January 30th (Monday). You can mail it back to her or put it in the Mailbox in KK’s office. Ticket money MUST be included. If you need a form , please find it  here: Band Banquet Invite 2017.

Remember, the final installment payment is due the end of February to have your total payment of $950.00 for the trip.

$950 is the new total for the trip. Those who have paid the old total of $975 will have $25.00 credited back to their Student Account. If you have any questions about your totals, please contact Jan Hedge at bigredstudentaccts@gmail.com .
